Humble Design Detroit is a local non-profit dedicated to helping individuals, families, and veterans transitioning out of homeless shelters into stable, long-term housing. While families often secure a physical structure, they rarely have the means to furnish it—leaving them to sleep on floors and live out of boxes. Humble Design steps in to change that by transforming cold, empty houses into warm, fully furnished, and personalized homes using community-donated items. By curating spaces that restore dignity, comfort, and self-worth, they give families the foundation they need to break the cycle of homelessness.
