ALL ABOUT THE MAGIC OF MOM PROM

Mom Prom (TM) is a nationwide event that was created in Canton, MI in 2006 by Betsy Crapps.  “It’s a ladies night out for charity in which women wear their old prom gowns, bridesmaids dresses, or formals and dance the night away for a worthy cause.”  This event is for ALL women over the age of 21, not just moms! 

 

Northville Mom Prom is back for a third year on Friday, April 11th at Meeting House Grand Ballroom in Plymouth. The evening will include dancing, small bites, open bar, and a silent auction.  It’s a wonderful night to have fun with friends and family and dance the night away. In 2023, our Inaugural Northville Mom Prom  welcomed 150 guests and raised just over $3000.00 that was donated to Winchester Elementary PTA. In 2024,  together with 300 guests we raised just shy of $12,000.00 for the Northville Youth Network. We have increased our fundraising goal and chosen The Kids’ Table as this year’s recipient.

​The Kids’ Table, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is dedicated to providing children and families in southeast Michigan with community-based resources to overcome the developmental, social, and emotional issues caused by food insecurity. We will do this through direct funding of projects and through active collaboration with local schools and other nonprofits.
